How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

I have learned several important skills while filming my project. Time management and organising the order of shots filmed was a challenge since there were several locations during different times of the day. I tried to make the filming as efficient as possible, not wasting time and resources, using the shot list as a guide. However, even with an effective plan, we sometimes have to improvise part of the movie.For instance, it began raining when filming the scene of Aria walking in town and finding the theatre which is why I altered the storyline, incorporating the rain as a part of the story. The rain ended up as a positive to the film since it added more intensity and depth to the atmosphere. Another instance of improvisation was in the final scene of the movie. The lights I was supported use originally stopped working so we had to film the closeup shot of Aria on stage using the theatres LED and Parabolic Aluminised Reflector lights to provide the deep blue colour. All of these experiences helped improve my improvisation and organising skills which will help me in further projects.
